Kourosh Hajizadeh was born on June 30th, 1975 in Tehran. He started his education in architecture in 1993 in “Islamic Azad University of Tabriz”. Iran’s culture and civilization impressed him so much that in the year 2001 he published a book called “Dooman” which was about lost culture and historical values of Tabriz which included many of his sketches on this matter, and was written in verse. He collaborated with famous and important architects such as “Bahram Shirdel” and “Seyyed Hadi Mirmiran” from 2002 to 2007. After many experiences he founded his personal office called “Hajizadeh & Associates”.
By reason of his distinguished mentality he participated in various competitions, and the result was winning various titles in more than 30 architectural competitions.
In 2013 he won “ the Architect of the Year ” prize in Middle East Architect Award 2013 and Architect Magazine selected him as one of the ” 50 Most Influential People ” in architecture of Middle East.
Currently, Kourosh Hajizadeh is studying PH.D in architecture in “Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Campus” in Tehran. He has also been teaching for 14 years in a number of universities such as “Tehran University” and “University of Science and Technology”. He has also had several lectures on his architectural works and the design process in his works.
In his architectural experiences his significant aim is to localize architecture, and to connect architecture with people and the city by the language of world contemporary art.

Nima Heyat After graduating from business management, the love for arts, composition, and arrangement, pulled him to a completely different career; architecture. IDEOLOGY Our well-organized universe is constantly changing and the most precious outcome of this mechanism for mankind is life. The cognition of relations which are ruling over the world’s phenomena and the way to communicate with them, would bring about the state of humans’ survival. However, voracious nature of a modern human and misconceiving necessities of individual-society-environment caused the construction growth in the world’s metropolises and specifically in Iran in a way that a plethora of structural, formal, and functional similarities have been generated among them; to the extent that such a resemblance is gradually changing into a morbid epidemic even in small towns and historic cities of Iran. It seems that architecture which itself is a creature of the culture and the needs of a society, has brought on non-organic changes in the body of the society in a way that hopelessly after years, regardless of climatic attributes, the difference between these cities will be no more recognizable!
As an identity which is shaped over time, architecture is a narrator of a land’s history which has developed into various social species in each period of time based on related demands. In other words, the social relations’ mechanism in each context besides its particular demands has shaped a special architecture in that context. On the other hand, architecture in each region of course will impose its own organizational properties to the society. In order to create a meaningful unity between human and architecture, this approach requires to scrutinize and connect social, structural, and climatic aspects of a specific context besides concerning modern human’s needs.
The ultimate goal of “Hajizadeh & Associates” studio is to create a self-produced connection between people, city, and the environment.
