ENTRANCE OF GOL-E-GOHAR SIRJAN COMPETITION

2nd Place

Sirjan – IRAN

Spring 2012

.

Visiting site of Golgohar complex in Sirjan is a new experience, the Imagination of seeing a valley which was a very broad mountain.
Two different spaces: positive and negative
This experience leads to the formation of the project’s main idea, combination of mountain and valley sense.
Entrance of Golgohar complex should be a symbol of industry and extracted material from its mines.
The Iron ore mine is an ore before extraction then becomes Iron. Considering such approach, main material of the project lower part is stone and upper part which is a symbol of mountain and valley combination is from Iron or may be rusted Iron.
Elimination of mounted path from entrance at ground floor level is a reason for more highlighted presence of entrance. Creation of three mounted lanes is also for facilitating and acceleration of employees getting off at the entrance and exit.
